The present General Conditions of Use and the legislation in force govern access to and navigation on the Bikini website.

Users are asked to read these Terms of Use carefully before using Bikini’s website. By using Bikini’s website, the user accepts the General Terms of Use posted on Bikini’s website at the time of navigation. As these are updated regularly, the applicable General Conditions of Use are those online at the time of browsing, without prior information to users. By simply using the Bikini website, users are deemed to have accepted the latest version of the Terms of Use.

In the event of non-acceptance of the General Conditions of Use, use of the Bikini website is prohibited.


Every year, Bikini invests in data collection, either directly or via licenses or partnerships.

Bikini is thus the Publisher of its database, except for content posted online by users, for which Bikini acts as a Host.

Bikini makes every effort to ensure that the data it puts online is as reliable as possible, but if you feel that any content posted by Bikini is illegal, you can inform Bikini at [email protected]

If this contentious content has been put online by a user, Bikini will only be able to remove the illicit data once the authenticity of the owner of the company concerned has been proven.


As the publisher of the Bikini website, Bikini controls the quality of the data collected, at the time of collection, and on a regular and permanent basis, in order to produce the most reliable information possible.

Bikini ensures the reliability, quality and updating of the data collected, in compliance with applicable legislation and the rights of third parties.

Each text written by Bikini is checked by an editor, and then validated by a manager, so as not to take part, or at least to take as little part as possible, in the quality of the services provided by the referenced company.

However, Bikini does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness or timeliness of the data and/or programs, information and content available on the Bikini website. Likewise, Bikini makes every effort not to infringe on the intellectual property rights of third parties, but cannot provide any guarantee in this regard.

In no case shall Bikini or companies linked to it be held responsible for any direct, indirect, special, consecutive or other damage caused by the use of or reliance on information found on the Bikini website or any other website to which it links, including – but not limited to – loss of earnings, interruption of activities, loss of programs or other data, even if Bikini has been expressly advised of the possibility of such damage.


The user is responsible for any content he or she posts on the Bikini website. Indeed, Bikini cannot be held responsible for the content of messages or information posted by users, or for the content of third-party information on the Internet, even if it is accessible from the Bikini website. However, Bikini reserves the right, which it is free to exercise or not, to examine, adapt or delete any content that Bikini considers to be illicit, defamatory, denigrating or injurious or otherwise inappropriate.

If a third party wishes to have illicit content posted by a user removed, they may send a request to Bikini at [email protected] Bikini will then send the third party a form requesting the removal of illicit content, as required by law (LCEN of 21 June 2004).

Bikini will then undertake to remove the illicit information as soon as possible, provided that the form is fully completed in accordance with the rules in force.


Bikini offers an information and Internet referencing service for companies. This service is managed centrally by Bikini, and includes the communication of data and information on companies owned by third parties and their products and services, established and organized according to a method designed by Bikini.

In addition to the company listing activity, Bikini’s offer provides access to advertising/visibility services. Bikini markets its advertising space either in its own name or through a distribution partner.


From Bikini :

Databases are defined by article L112-3 of the French Intellectual Property Code as a “collection of works, data or other independent elements, arranged in a systematic or methodical manner, and individually accessible by electronic means or by any other means”.

As such, Bikini’s databases are protected by French and European Intellectual Property law.

Any unauthorized use of Bikini’s databases or of its Classification constitutes an act of infringement punishable by article L. 343-4 of the French Intellectual Property Code, which states that “The act of infringing the rights of the producer of a database as defined in article L. 342-1 shall be punishable by three years’ imprisonment and a fine of 300,000 euros. When the offence has been committed in an organized gang, the penalties are increased to five years’ imprisonment and a fine of 500,000 euros.

Thus, unless specifically authorized in writing by Bikini, the following are prohibited under the Intellectual Property Code

The total or partial extraction of its databases or classification on another medium
Replication in any form whatsoever of all or part of the Databases or the Classification
The abusive extraction of a non-substantial part of the Databases or the Classification.

From third parties:

The products, services and company names mentioned on the Bikini website are protected by intellectual and industrial property rights. It is forbidden to use these elements without the prior written authorization of the third parties concerned.


It is not permitted to collect content and information from the Bikini website by means of a robot or any other automated means (program, software, automaton, etc.).

The reproduction, modification or distribution of all or part of the Bikini website, in any form and by any means whatsoever, without the express written authorization of Bikini, is prohibited.

Extractions and printouts of databases are subject to the prior acquisition of a license and to respecting its limits. If these prerequisites and limitations are not respected, the user’s account will be blocked, either temporarily or permanently, and the user will not be entitled to any reimbursement or compensation. The Databases contain cookie addresses intended to detect any unauthorized use.


Certain sections of the Bikini website can only be accessed once a personal account has been created, allowing the user to use Bikini services. When creating a personal account, the user must provide a certain amount of information about him or herself, and choose a user name and password. The user undertakes to provide accurate, complete and up-to-date information, and to make any necessary changes to ensure that this information remains accurate. Bikini reserves the right to suspend or definitively prohibit the use of Bikini’s services if any information provided by the user proves to be inaccurate, incomplete, or not up-to-date. The user is solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of his/her password. The user acknowledges and accepts that his/her account is strictly personal, and that the communication of his/her password to a third party is not authorized. User is fully responsible for all use of User’s login and password, whether or not User has authorized such use. The user agrees to immediately notify Bikini of any unauthorized use of his/her login and password. Should the user fail to provide Bikini with this information, they will only be able to access those parts of the Bikini website that do not require the creation of a personal account.


Any use made by the user of Bikini’s databases is made under his or her own responsibility, and Bikini does not guarantee the adequacy of the content of its Website to the user’s needs and specifications.

The publisher cannot be held responsible for any direct, indirect or fortuitous consequence or damage and/or prejudice, whether direct or indirect, linked to the use of the site.

The publisher does not guarantee that the functioning of the Site is continuous and without error. The Editor may interrupt access to all or part of the site at any time, in particular for operational reasons, corrective or evolutionary maintenance, without the users being able to claim any compensation or seek the responsibility of the Editor in this respect.
