During your stay in Tamatave, don’t forget to visit the Ivoloina Zoological Park. You will be amazed by the sweet tropical perfume and the mosaics of colors of this natural heritage of Madagascar.
You will discover a botanical garden with 75 native and ornamental plants.
Created in 1963, the park shelters about ten species of lemurs in captivity and 5 species in the wild (brown lemurs with white forehead, black lemurs with blue eyes, bamboo, soft grey, aye-aye, etc.).
On an area of 282 hectares, you will also find various species of turtles (radiata, pryxis, spider turtles), frogs, parrots and chameleons.
Open every day from 9am to 5pm, this place is just waiting to be discovered.
